Bio cube upgrades/mod ideas?

Does anyone have any suggestions for mods or upgrades to a biocube 14? I'm trying to eliminate the bio balls and doing something in the return pump chamber. Also, my heater can't fit in the return chamber so I could use some ideas where to fit it back there.

I have a pretty old one so they may have changed things but I punched out the false bottom in the first chamber and my heater is there. I just found the false bottom to be a detritus trap. Check out the inTank media baskets as well they are pretty cool.

I just added the intank media rack. Floss on the top, Purigen, and Chemipure Blue. I removed about 75% of the bioballs at first then several weeks later I removed the rest. All my water parameters are spot on
