Noticed these black dots on both male and female clownfish. They do not try to host any corals so I don’t think they are any kind of stings. What is this? Eating and acting completely normal.

It could be one of two things. Sting Mark's from trying out a new coral, or black ich. Looks more like sting Mark's to me.

Looks like hypermelanization to me, a pretty severe case. Guessing that clown tried to host a stinging coral and got all sorts of stung. It should be fine with good water quality and high quality foods.

Hypermelanization is often a clownfish’s reaction to nasty stings.

Those spots are far too large for black ich.

What is a stinging coral? Its on both of the pair, female worse than male.
Pretty much any lps coral, I see what resembles a euphyllia in the background of your picture. Either a torch or hammer.

The male is pretty lethargic this morning, staying in one spot. Female is swimming and acting like normal. No change in the dots or any observed hosting behavior
