Going to do a 2-3 day blackout on my reefer 250 to try to help the cyano I cant get under control. Turned the lights on briefly to look and one of my two bubbletips is hanging off the side of his rock. Looks like 1/5th of his foot is attached and thats all, the other looks fine. Dont want him to detach and float off, should I leave it be or what? At this time the lights have been off 24 hours

Your corals need light. Algae is always the product of something off in your water. Run your tank as normal, and look into Brightwell Aquatics Razor. Will do the trick at the latest of two-three weeks (Weekly waterchanges)

I've done multiple 3 day blackouts on my tank. Usually my anemones stay put. They'll usually just close up. Sometimes they move. I've never lost an anemone or coral from a 3 day black out.
