Hi Guys
Could anyone please help me identify this algae and possible ways to control?
Thanks in advance! :)

You will find that it’s green, most likely bryopsis for the looks of it.

treatment will be sea lettuce nudibranch or chemical way as a algaecide seems to be the only way.

I think it’s bryopsis given structure, it’s the blue colour that put me off

Does it look like this? Don’t remember the name. Tangs will eat it though.
No it’s a different structure to that and none of my tangs or rabbit fish have touched it

It’s actually kinda cool looking! Do have an Urchin? Might eat it it.

I do have an collector urchin, all he seems to eat is my coralline algae which I think is allowing it to take over

That looks for sure to be bryopsis, it grows in fern like feathers. If you took a picture of just white light only, no blues, its probably straight green. No critter will eat bryopsis.
