Bottom Weir and Float rate?

Hi All,

I am having trouble getting the flow rate dialed in for my Fiji Cube 20 Gallon AIO. Right now I have the bottom weir closed and the pump just slightly openned and am consistently activating my ATO unit. Just wondering how the bottom weir actually affects the flow rate to the return chamber?

I never had a bottom weir until my cade and I'll honestly say I'll never do without again. The flow rate isn't the reason to me as much as the flow of the system does and having flow on the bottom and top together is invaluable to me and my critters. All do a lot better clean wise as well as feeding times distributing food more evenly and placement is larger for the bottom corals. Hope it makes sense.
