I just recently acquired a bowser paly. Its opening up and doing great but colors are very dull. I wanted to know though under what light intensity do these guys color up the best? I have seen some great pictures here of bowsers and mine don't look like them yet.

I got it from Planetzoa so its the real deal. Does it color up really bright with very low light?

Hmmmm interesting. I also just got a bowser. I have it on the sand and the par is around 110-130 or so (if I remember correctly).

As a heads up, IMO, Planet Zoa's Bowser is its own special Bowser. It's not like the typical Bowser which is basically a CAO morph (and CAOs imo are Bowsers already). So you can't call the PZ Bowser with some other Bowsers like the Walaa Bowser/steroid CAR going around. If you look at PZ Bowser, it's like a hybrid of a Poinsettia and a CAO since it has that large amount of orange and those striations on the center.

For the PZ Bowser, I was told high light and flow to bring out the colors from Travis; the label I got with it said so too. Like all corals, it takes time for them to get used to light. Mine's popped two babies, but the colors aren't as bright yet.

Interested, good to know. PZ bowsers are definitely unique and I like them. I was also told on the label they like high light but they didn't respond quite well to that so I put them down low and are open and doing great now. I will have to slowly raise them and see what happens.
