BRS disappointment!

Just wanted to share that I am currently disappointed with BRS, I placed an order last week and I got it yesterday but 4 items were missing and 1 was damaged. I do understand things can get damaged in shipping but 4 items missing is ridiculous.
 
did you check the packing slip? sometimes there is a note about not having enough or the item available and you caught them between inventory system updates and they ship the remainder later for free. or maybe they just missed it (we all are human, after all). what makes BRS great is that they absolutely will take care of you when something goes wrong without any additional stress or worry. this is what differentiates a good company from a great one - how they deal with their clients when troubles come to bare.

That's the thing, no packaging slip was included. I'm not bashing them and I as well think they're great but having no packaging slip, four items missing and one damage is a little too much...

that's curious with no packing slip, indeed. what did BRS say when you communicated with them?
 
"Sorry, we will ship out the rest of your order with a replacement of your damaged item" ...second email says its shipping UPS ground
 
I have another order from them arriving tomorrow so kinda nervous now! Ha
 
Received an order from them today and everything was perfect.
 
I've received my shipments from BRS usually without issue. You're at the mercy of UPS, and I've had one box come in mangled and one box open with a red pvc pipe missing. A call to BRS and it was all taken care of quickly. The DOS was replaced once they received the crushed one, and a new pipe was shipped out.
 
BRS has A+ Customer Service. Stuff happens. UPS destroyed 2 out of 3 boxes and BRS took care of it.
 
I have purchased pretty much "everything" for my last tank and my current build from them, I have never before had any problems with any order, but today actually something weird happened.... I ordered two boxes of Rock at 20lbs each, the first one arrived yesterday and weighed 22 lbs, the one I received today only had 11.7 Lbs in it, yet the label read 23 and the tape was not broken... I noticed the weight difference and immediately placed the box in the scale, took a photo and made the call less than 5 minutes after the delivery.... They asked me to email the picture, so I'm hoping to have this sorted soon.

Yeah it's frustrating when it happens but I have ordered from them again since then and everything has come out good. I actually have 3 boxes delivered from them today waiting to be opened.
