Bruise on wrasse?

Hey all, I got a melanurus wrasse about 2 weeks ago and he has been attacking his reflection quite a bit. Eats like a pig and gets along with all the fish besides himself. I pit up pieces of paper in the corners he attacks and it has helped quite a bit but he recently developed what looks like a bruise.

Any insight would be great, he is acting perfectly normal besides the dark spot on his side.

IME that looks similar to bite marks from another fish in the tank. mine did most of its dirty work at night.

Think maybe a coral banded shrimp could have pinched him when he was sleeping in the sand bed?
