Is brute still the way to go to mix your water ?
Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

Are those the food grade ones? Cant find the white 44 gallons white. Not sure if the color matters. Is that true they leash phosphate?

They are great. They do not leach anything. They are all food grade. If you need a specific color, then try uline.

I have used them for years, still do and they are just too handy.

A 50 gallon bag of IO or RC mixes to 35 ppt in one of them.

I use one as a sump and it honestly has done a much better job than my other more traditional sump. :face-with-tears-of-joy: IMG_6498.jpeg

These are great... Do yourself a favor and get the round dolly that fits onto the bottom.

Much the same... I use 3 x 44g's for ato, mixing and draining. Only bought the wheel base for the one I mix indoors. Drain and ATO sit outdoors. And yes, they are certified food grade.

A rectangular container would be superior for saving space... but... other than that the brut cans are unbeatable.

I have 3 of the 32 gallon that have been in use for several years. One for RODI, one for fresh salt mix and one I keep full of salt water removed durring changes just in case I need to set a tank up for an emergency.
What kind of pump do you use and do you use a heater

I use a 44g brute with removable wheels, a heater and a sicce syncra 5 to make about 30g every 10 days. Its a great setup

I have a heater in the container I mix salt in along with a couple of old powerheads for mixing. I have one of the pumps shown below for transferring. It helps that all my stuff is in our unfinished basement so I don't worry about it being all neat and tidy.
