Bubble algae, only on snail??

I've never seen it on a snail shell before, wild.

I would definitely scrap all of that off the snail's shell before introducing it into your system. If you have somewhere the snail can hang out for about a week that is not plumbed to your main system, that would be even better.

I had some bubble algae come in on a frag at some point and it spread like wildfire. I've battled many different types of algae with my tank and bubble algae was by far the one I hated the most.
