Bubble Magus NAC7 Pump Issues

I have a Bubble Magus NAC7 Protein Skimmer in my sump, and the pump in it has stopped moving water, and it just rattles now. I had this same issue with the original pump, so I bought a new one, new needle wheel impeller and everything, but it's doing it again less than 6 months later. Does anyone know why, how to fix it, or how to prevent it?

I'd contact Bubble Magus. The pump you replaced should still be under warranty. And perhaps they can shed some light on why it's shredding pumps.
