So I introduced a bubble tip to my reef . it took to a great spot . Looked great, this morning we had blended bubble in the tank, i acclimated it properly my tank parameters were within the proper levels, its a new reef would this have been my issue .

They generally need to be added to established reef tanks with stable and good water parameters that mature systems provide

When you say, ‘blended bubble’ did it get caught in a power head or something?

i figured that my mistake, the reef is 2 months new, should have realized, rookie mistake on my part. ill wait a year or so

You may be able to salvage the anemone depending on how bad it got chewed up. They are pretty tough. You can just turn the power head off and give it time to extract its self or gently remove it from the power head. If you remove it place it under a ledge in your rocks where it can reach out to get light and where there is flow but not directly blowing at it. Then it is a good idea to wrap your power head with some course lose foam to keep it from happening again. 6 months is usually enough time before adding an anemone. Stability is the main issue.
