I'm going to add a controller to my CA reactor. Any reason not to buy something like a reef keeper light to control the reactor as well as other tank Items? Does a designated ph controller do a better job? Thanks

I got a reefkeeper lite and am verry happy. I had a PH controller before that and for the money the RK lite blows it away....

A ph controller is pretty expensive and if you are will to spend the $ then i would get a full controller that could automate everything. A ph controller is no more accurate than a Reef Keeper, Apex or any other controller.

Full automation/controller?

Full controller? Tell us more. Are you saying get one of the higher end RK models, or are you recommending a different brand? This is something I've been considering for awhile now, just haven't done the research to know which type of controller I'm going to go with. With two reef set-ups, cost becomes a consideration and the RKL starting price is certianly luring.
