Either I have major poo envy from a fish or my female oscillaris clown has internal parasites. This epic turd is likely the latter, but before I tear my tank apart trying to capture the Mrs I would like to hear from the excrement experts. I was able to net and photograph the elusive floater for all of your viewing pleasure. The video show the poo still attached and the up close still shots are after I wrangled it. I placed the poo on the bottom side of a k-cup for contrast and scale. Should I begin treatment or sit back in awe of my fishes ability to create gigantic # 2's?

Update: video of said poo failed to upload.

My clown had white stringy poop like yours. He than would not eat for a week. Netted and general cured him. He’s healthy again now. IMO you should watch him more before treatment. It may be nothing

I think that the length alone is not the issue - the color plays a role in the DX. White stringy is what is normally discussed when there is a problem. Others should chime in. Love the way you described it in your original post though! Good luck to you.

You could add focus/General cure to the food as a “just in case.”

Adding GC to your food has no downside. Worst case scenario is it cures a problem!
