Can corals be overfeed?

I feed my corals often, 4 to 5 times a week. Sometimes it's mysis shrimp (frozen) for the meat eaters, sometimes commercial coral 'foods' re-hydrated in tank water, occasionally both the same day. I always spot feed the shrimp, sometimes spot feed the commercial powder (otherwise I just pour it in). Is it possible to overfeed, and if so what are the consequences?

Current inventory includes dendrophylia, acropora, frogspawn, zoas, pulsing xenia, goniopora, trumpet, green torch, and war coral. Reef is three months old, they are all relatively small colonies.

The main thing will be a heavily loaded tank with phosphates and nitrates which will come around to upset the SPS most.
