Here are a couple pictures of my candy cane coral, this is basically how it has looked since i got it a few weeks ago and I was just wondering does it look normal? Cause I feel like I see other people with these and they are more puffed up.

It’s only been a few weeks so it could still be acclimating to your water params. It might also need to be placed in a different location needing more or less light and more or less flow. Mine are always puffed up from just a little to really big. Your frag looks healthy so since it doesn’t look like it’s dying I wouldn’t sweat it, just give it more time where it’s at or move it to a new location and see how it responds.

I'd move it to a really low flow spot and see if it puffs up. Is it an all green candy cane or a purple with green center? If it's all green then it is really receeding, and I'd check your water parameters. Still move it to very low flow.

Check it in the middle of the night after lights have been off for a few hours or in the morning while it’s still dark and see if it’s more puffed up and for any tentacles out. It looks fine to me in that pic.
