Hi everyone I've been wondering this past weeks if my candy coral is doing fine...
I bought a frag about 3 months ago, it came with 2 polyps, one of them had been retracting itself until it died.
Now the only left polyp that I have its been retracting itself so I'm afraid of losing it.
I use reef crystals salt, powder food every week, good lighting and good water parameters, flow is medium to high and I also add some trace elements weekly.
Can somebody add some information about what they need, etc.
I don't want to lose it, all my other corals are doing fine.
I will upload some pictures when I'm home.
Thank you

I also perfom water changes every week, my tank is 25 lts and 8 moths old

Pictures would certainly be helpful. You should try placing it in an area of the tank that receives mild to moderate amount of light compared to the rest. Also, you want to keep it out of full water current.

Pictures if you can will help, but I would start by placing in a lower light area for a few weeks. Could be that its just not use to the light its getting. Plus i've had some who love littlecto no light and some who would like to be as high up as .my acros

Gonna need those water parameters
Cal- 380-460
Alk- 7-12dKH
Mag- 1250-1350
Nitrates- under 10
Phosphates- under .05
SG- 1.025-1.027
Strong lighting
Medium-High flow or 20x your water volume, at least

Thank you so much for all your feedback I shall check all those parameters thourghly

I will add pictures in a few hours so u can c it
