I'm a little confused with carbon. Is a small amount ok in HOB filter when finished with all meds and in clean qt tank or better to just go with just floss to remove floating particulate stuff?
Carbon is fine for removing meds and improving water quality; just be sure you are using high grade carbon (ex. Rox 0.8) that doesn't leach carbon dust back into the aquarium, which can cause HLLE.
