Good morning!

So I ordered some snails and chaeto to start off now that my cycle is done and after I put it in my fuge i noticed there were quite a bit of bits that had fallen off and are now blowing around the display. Should I try and grab the little pieces or should I just leave it?

If they're tiny, don't worry about it, but if you can easily remove them you might as well. I often put a bunch of my chaeto on a veggie clip for my tang and foxface, they make a mess and small pieces do end up in the display. My fish help clean them up, but I try to work the left over pieces free if I notice they're stuck in my rock work.

After doing my first water change today, I noticed there was a bit of build up in one of my return lines. There is a small bunch of chaeto stuck at the end right where the return head plugs into the tubing.

Any tips on how I should remove it?

EDIT: nevermind I was able to unclog by restarting the pump
