Hey all, I know I post alot lol... But I have alot of questions. So my clowns only eat frozen mysis with garlic which is great as it enhances thair colour and they seem to love it however I also got them omnivore pellets also with garlic in, they HATE it. I put one pellet In and they just ignore it. Funny thing is they used to eat it before I tried frozen mysis. How can I get them to eat the pellets too so they have a veried diet? I don't want them to just eat the mysis unless that's okay? Thanks!

When you say that they ignore it does that mean that they mouth it and spit it out or that they never take it into their mouth? Have you tried to reduce the frequency of the mysis feeding? For example, one option would be if you feed the mysis once every two or three days and then attempt to feed the pellets in between. You could also try other types of pellets like Chroma BOOST from @Reef Nutrition or the fish food pellets from ME Coral (@marke) which are softer and are taken more readily by my picky clowns. Good luck!

Thanks, I only feed a very small amount as Ive had the tank 7 months I used to put a full block in. Made the tank nutrients sky rocket, now I only feed around a quarter of the block as its only the 2 clowns in the tank at the moment and a few critters although I have just orderd a butt load of corals and a few new fish. Frozen food can get expensive where I live that's the only downside!
