So, I decided to follow the Red Sea program, which includes algae prevention, but I have also added Chemipure Nano a couple of weeks ago to the 10 gallon reef that's been up for about a month. The short of it is that the nitrates have declined to nearly undetectable. That's a problem. Phosphates on the other hand are stubbornly at 0.5 ppm. All other parameters are fine.

Should I keep the Chemipure in the tank, especially with the Red Sea program in place?

The concern is that if the nutrients bottom out, I'll be dealing with dino.

Sounds right. It contains GFO
REMOVE and save it. Replace with regular chemipure or carbon
