Cleaning a tank

I am getting ready to add water to my tank for the first time and was wondering what everyone uses to clean there tank with before using it? Thank you for any help

I just used a cloth rised in rodi water, wasn't really dirty.

I use the following tools for maintenance:
Turkey Baster - good for stirring sand and pressure on rocks
Mag float - for glass
Razor Blade - for glass and coralite growth on back of tank (not necessary)
