Cloudy water please help

I have a 150 gallon saltwater tank and in a week it went cloudy, so cloudy that I could see rocks that were close to front. I've done some research and I think it's just an bacterial bloom I've recently added a new filter system and media that would help with a good colony to start in the filter. But it been about a month and nothin has changed. Please help I feel like I just need to drain it and refill

Details or pictures about your setup please. Pictures being the easiest. What is in the tank livestock? water parameters? filtration? what do you add to the tank IE carbon gfo dosing foods?

Do you have powerheads running in the tank?
Do you have a skimmer running on the tank?
Did you use Live Rock or Macro Rock?
What type of sand did you use.
All these variables with have a different impact on a new tank. But in the long run, it will settle itself out.
