I have a 20g QT with 2 clowns and a yellow watchmen goby since LFS purchase 10 days ago. Been prophylactically medicating Bifuran and Hypo salinity last 10 days. Fish stopped eating 3 days ago. One clown has long white string poop once in awhile and puffy gills. The other clown is now on the bottom and breathing rapidly. Goby looks good other than not eating. Thinking it is some parasite I added Metroplex to the tank today to see if the will drink enough of the medication. Thoughts on next steps?

Is there a reason why you chose to go hypo salinity for QT? Did the fish show signs of sickness from the store? How did you start the hypo treatment? Did you gradually lower the salinity?

Fish may have been too stressed to eat. For internal parasites, it is much more effective if they ate metro infused food. If they are not eating, that's a big issue. I would slowly increase salinity and see if they start to eat. I think the main concern is getting them to eat first.
