Is there anything I can do to help survival from other fish?

Not really. You can net them and put them in another tank, but then you have to raise food for them. Clownfish fry eat rotifers which you either have to purchase or breed. I just let them hatch and become food for the other fish. Unless you're raising them and selling them it's not worth it.

Clownfish fry are going to need their own tank with an almost endless supply of rotifers.
Even if you saved the eggs now if you dont have the grow tanks, rotifer colonies going its probably a wasted effort.
But if they have laid they will probably lay again :)

I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to set up a little 10 gallon tank and see what happens [emoji16]
Again, just so you know, you need live rotifers to feed them, without them they'll starve to death. Clownfish fry won't eat anything else, especially pellet or frozen food.

You can order live rotifers to start them off, if you time it right...

You'll have to wait till they are just about to hatch (you'll see silver eyes developing, when the retinas' get a slight blueish tint- they will most likely hatch that night).

Turn off the pumps, get out a small light source and guide the larvae into a container to transfer- any net or mesh will probably harm or kill them at that point.

Also make the 10 gallon the same water parameters you have in the main tank, using mostly water from that tank would be ideal. Put a small airstone in at low pressure to create some water movement in the 10 gallon, be diligent about siphoning detritus, and if the larvae haven't been fed by the 2nd day- they mostly all will have starved by then.

How long before I should plan on be for they hatch?

They'll hatch 7-10 days since they've been laid. Getting everything set up sooner would be better, and if you order live rotifers (which is expensive), try to line up when you receive them with when the larvae are introduced to the 10 gallon. It'd be the best to start a rotifer colony ASAP, but you can start them on baby brine shrimp once they are alive past the first week.

Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Thanks! Not sure when they were laid, so I'm going to start preparing tonight

Post the grow tank when setup :). I looked into doing it just couldnt justify the expense lol.

Take lots of pictures! A friend of mine did it very successfully, but he created an acrylic contraption to trap the fry with an air stone. Vague, I know, but there DIY videos.
