Ok guys/gal alot of you have been after me to update the website.

So it's up to date for the info I have available. If anyone has the following I'd love to update it even more.

1) Banners for this years sponsors
2) Images of your tank for the image gallery
3) Images of last years swap

Thanks Brandon!! I know it must be a pain. We will get the flyer done soon so we can update the projects page updated. I will send e-mails monday to our vendors/sponsors about the banners.

Website

Ok the website has been updated with all banners/pictures i've been forwarded this week.

I'd still like to up date the photogallery, so if you guys could send/post a few pictures of your tank it would be appreciated.

Let me know if i forgot/missed anything.

looks great brandon! Will you be able to use something from the link I sent you for Drsfoster&smith? I asked for a banner and they just sent me a link. We may have to lift theirs from the web site or that link. Let me know if you can get anything from the link.

The one i had of a link from you was reef doctor micromussas..... I don't have anything on Dr Fosters Smith.

Was that a phone conversation? Just let me know what banner they want used etc.... and i'll get it done.

hey Brandon I just got a pm that the frag swap flyer was still linked to mr coral - could you look into changing that?

Can you make a link on the "our projects" that is right by the East TN regional frag swap note near the bottom- both the picture and the wording.

And why is our frag swap called the East TN Regional frag swap rather than Chattanooga Frag swap like the flier? ET regional sounds more like the knoxville club rather than ours.

And could we add a "silence the music" button. I like Donny's music (especially that song), but music with websites bugs me. I know I can mute my computer, but I'd rather shut the website up....

And I know it's always in flux, but can we add a next meeting button? Maybe link it to our thread here so that you don't have to update it except for once a month? I guess the Our Forums gets us here, but you need a button for do-dos (like me) to find.

I'll just be absolutely honest about it. I work on a computer 60-70 hours a week, so yea I can I do most the things your asking , but I'm probably not. Please don't take offense to it, this is a hobby for me and when it starts to seem like work it just isn't fun.

If you guys want a site we can change every month week etc we need to go back to something like the old one (a content management system) where whoever the officers are can change it. Problem there was the free ones look like crap, so i tried to make something that looked nice and directed us to our forum for things that changed alot.

I suggest we add this to the list of topics for next months meeting.

I agree with brandon, the website was really meant to be a springboard for sending people to reef2reef. It doesnt need to be a big deal. its nice to advertise the flyer for the swap and link people here , but thats about it. it would be nice if there was someone who could dedicate the time to keep it changing, but I think everyone here is very busy. thanks brandon for the work you have done on it, I know alot of people dont understand the hours you spend on it.

I'm sorry Brandon, I didn't really know the purpose of the website as being a springboard to the forum. It's looks perfect the way it is and doesn't need to be changed. I know it's a pain in the butt to do that stuff (I have a website and it's not been updated, so I certainly understand). Please accept my apology.

hehe, i dont think brandon took it personally, I assume he wanted people to understand he wasnt personally being lazy, just cant invest all that time in it. shoot, he has chosen work over me this year. i got the same speech about our friendship! lol
