I thought I would start a thread over here for my tank. It is a 150 gallon (72x24x20) glass tank with a 135 basement sump.

This tank is 2 1/2 years old, and is a SPS reef. Flow is provided by 2 MP40's. The tank is lit by an Aquatinics Constellation fixture. Skimmer is a SRO 3000 Int and the return pump is BF3600.

Fish are as follows.

White Cheek Tang (Acanthursu nigricans)
Kole Tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus)
Mededithi Angelfish (Chaetodontoplus meredithi)
Ocellaris clownfish x2 (Amphiprion ocellaris)
Green Chromis x5 (Chromis viridis)
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus exquisitus)
Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse x2 (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis)
Labouti Fairy Wrasse x3 (Cirrhilabrus laboutei)
Lineatus Fairy Wrasse x2 (Cirrhilabrus linneatus)

Some pics of the tank.

Thanks for checking out my humble tank. If you have any questions please ask.

Dug through the photobucket account and found some old pics of the "guts" of the system.

The pics are from this past summer, not from the start of the tank.

There is also a 50 gal QT tank in the basement, not pictured.

love your wrasse's

Thank you. My collection is just about complete (well for now at least) I would just like to find a nice male exquisite, or a pair, to put with my remaining female. The male of the pair died this past winter. Not sure what happened to him. Watched that guy change from female to male in QT, was almost beat to death by a bad fairy wrasse decision that I had made (pylies), made a comeback and would display with insane brightness and regularity. Here are some old pics of one of my favorite fairy wrasses. RIP.

Got a frag pack from BattleCorals this week. This is my first order from them and so far I am very pleased. Figured I would use this batch of corals to document my coral QT process. There has been quite a learning curve for me to get a process down where I can keep them alive, and yet feel confident that any pests are taken care of before going into the main system.

After temp acclimating I just remove from shipping bag and place into QT tank. I have found that giving corals a week or so to acclimate to the new light and QT parameters before dipping really helps cut down on losses for me.

I will dip the corals this weekend (probably tomorrow). I am going to be using RPS All Out. I have yet to try this dip, but I have it on hand so I want to try it out. I also have Revive, and Bayer on hand if All Out does not do what I want it too. I will post some shots individual corals later on.

My system is pretty simple. I dose vinegar to control nitrates and phosphates and once in a while I throw in some MicrobeLift Special blend. I also use a couple of drops of Elos amino acids when colors are starting to get to pale and dose some lugols when the blues are fading. Other than that it is simply maintaining good water parameters dosing 2 part and doing weekly water changes. Thanks for asking and hope that helps.

Finally had a chance to get a few pictures taken. Work has been crazy the last few weeks and haven't had much time, but here are a few that turned out halfway decent.
