Confetti Acropora

Hey guys, I just recently purchased my first 3 frags of Acropora, with one of them being the Confetti Acro. Does anyone have any experience, tips or helpful suggestions with growing the confetti acro specifically? The other two are no names, so I didnt bother with putting the names of the others since they were super cheap.

I currently have Birdsnest, Stylophora and Monti that I have been able to keep and grow out, so I thought that I should take the next step towards acro and see how I do here.

Currently I have the lights in acclimation mode (represented by the 60%/80% par map) to acclimate the acros to the previous schedule I had the tank under (represented by the 100%/100% par map). I plan to do this over the course of 112 days (2 weeks every 5% increase).

Also, if you have any colony pics of your own Confetti Acro, could you please share that with me!

Currently the Conffeti acro is getting 230 Par and at the end of acclimation will be getting 320 par.

You should be good at 320 PAR. I blasted mine with light for the first year and it was all pink. After I moved it down to 350 PAR, it colored up the way you want with green in the base and gold polyps. It's also in turbulent flow.

Right now the base is green with subtle hints of pink coralites and goldish/tan polyps (pic below). Im sure this will change while going through acclimation, but hoping to get it right!

I keep mine in good random flow and at a lower level than most my other acro, probably around 350 par. One of my favorite corals. It tends to be the most confettied at night and early morning, like crazy hairy. This vid is how it looks during the day. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR9KyJQd/
