Connecting 2 Apex Controllers

Can anyone tell me if I can connect my old Apex controller (about 8 years but current software) to my recently acquired new Apex controller by plugging the old one into the aquabus? My reason is to get access to the extra temp probe port on the old controller. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately you can't do that.... neptune sells modules that can add extra probes. But you wont be able to utilize the ones integrated into the legacy apex units.

No. You cannot connect multiple Apex controllers together. Modules can only report to a single Apex "brain". You can have separate Apex units each linked to your Fusion account, but they each operate independently and you can toggle between each one's dashboard in Fusion, but they have no way to interact with one another.
