Hi
My wires are a mess even when I tried to clean them up. I'm hoping a board will help almost solve that issue. I did just get an apex also. If a board is a good idea which one?
or

Or are they really both the same?
TY!

I have the marine depot deluxe and it’s perfect

Can people post pictures of the layout of their boards? Just received mine today and I'm perplexed! Have to fit basically everything from Neptune: Trident, Cor-15, Apex, LSM, ATO, Hydros Wave Engine, Hydra 32, etc. Hellppp! :)

I used a piece of plywood.

I'm going to try to tackle this exact same problem this week end. Planning on using a piece of 3/4 inch plywood with 1x4's for the sides. What do you do with the mess of wires? Are they tied up to the back of the controller board? Some use cable raceways on the front of the board. I was thinking of using it on the back. But I would think it would be a huge PITA to remove the cable. Like if you wanted to remove to clean a powerhead.

I believe those to be the same boards.

Not the neatest setup but here is how I used the Adaptive Reef controller board. I actually used one from BRS and one from MarineDepot. Same product tho. Yes, you can make these but my life is too busy for that. Doing the fish room was enough. Anyway, you can see more on my build thread. Feel free to ask questions. I posted the rear of the panels too so you can see the mess behind.
Last little trick is to use 12 in extension cords from Amazon to neatly plug into the power strip. You can then label the cords easily with a label maker.

DRT,
That looks great.. Thanks for that post! I'm with you on the time for it. The amount of time for ME to even make a basic will take me a few hours.. I can work less and make it back so since i'm pretty bad at DYI buying it makes sense to me

Both are made by me :).

They function the same and in a totally non bias opinion they are awsome :P.

They not only keep you equipment clean, they also make is safe as the material used is waterproof and fire resistant.

All of this is just awesome! Can I use a few pics on AdaptiveReef.com? Love how you used it in landscape.

Love it!

i used command strips to attach the controller modules and screwed in egg crates on the bottom to stabilize the board
Looks good!
I have this on the way soon.
I noticed a few people mounting the boards this way and wanted to make it easy.

We have a few on our site. However we are going to try to get a catalog going to help with inspiration and ideas.

The goal is to make as many systems as possible clean and safe.
