Hi all, I was reading a little bit about control algae in the saltwater tank and I came across the article saying (please see below). Does anyone ever heard about it? My understanding was that higher light will cause more algae; however, it seems that here they are suggesting opposite.

I believe it truly is just about the kind of algae. I have a poll going right now about this exact subject. I've recently had some issues with Diatoms. I bumped my lights up, and I'm no longer having issues. I couldn't tell you the science behind it, but it did help.
