im looking at getting a copperband butterfly
ive kept a couple in the past but not for long.
i know they can be kept for a lengthy time.looking for some advice here on food, size or whatever else i should look for, even origin

I have had my copperband for about seven years. She thrives because i feed her every day squid or steamer clams. I cut them and feed them by hand, Here is an old link to some pics of her eating. Wow, Its strange to watch this and see its only about 18 months ago. The fish are all much bigger and the main stag in the middle is almost doubled in size. I knew the tank was growing but i didnt know how much. I have some new video posted in the LED lighting section as i recently converted this tank to DIY CREE LEDS

fish look very healthy.
do you freeze the squid,grind it or just chop it up

I freeze it Vic. Been feeding this way for years. All the fish thrive. Also give them steamers. Funny, watching the video, you can see the copperband get excited when she hears me start cutting the squid. Thanks for watching
