Hi everyone,

I had a question related to the cor-15 or return pumps in general. What speed or power position do you typically use for your return pump?

Thanks,

I have a pair. One on my return (210 gallon) and another on my skimmer (life reef). The idea is that if the return goes offline I can take the skimmer offline and swap them out in a couple minutes. Skimmer is not has important has the return. Anyway at first I was running the skimmer at 65% and the return at 80%. Now I run them at 100%. I really don't see a reason not to and honestly that isn't why I bought them.

I already have the Neptune ecosystem. I wanted a DC pump. Seemed like a simple decision to me. I originally was using a Jebao DCT 15000 pump for my return, and it worked ok, but it wasn't built the best. In fact if you compare one of those pumps to the Cor, or any other well known manufacture, you can see and feel the build difference. The Jebao is now used for water changes or ATO bucket refill. Last ditch it would be a emergency item when all else fails. But to your point - 100%.

Are you using 2x COR-15 on the same EnergyBar832? I couldn't find any documentation that suggests 2x COR-15's could be used on the same 832...I've also seen conflicting statements about the total wattage used by the COR-15, some say 50w vs. 60w where the 832 can only support a maximum of 100w...
