Hi All!

I am new to reef tanks, my tank has been up and running great for about 4 months now. I unfortunately got a fish with ICH and it died so I am now quarantining my tank, however I got my first frag this weekend to try out so far its opened up and ate great. I am feeding it reef-roids. I just wanted some suggestions on additives for my water. When I start getting larger corals or adding more frags what type, brand etc. of additives would you suggest? Also WHEN should I start adding these l I am looking into A,B,C Red Sea Reef foundations

Thank you in advance :)

There is a lot of reading which should be done to understand the how the water chemistry works before you start dosing. You will likely want to get some test kits for calcium, alkalinity, magnesium and ph. It is not recommended to dose anything which you cannot test for. Once you have an understanding of what to dose and when, at that point, and only at that point should you start dosing...

what kind of coral? I have a 120 gal. tank full of softies and a few lps and I don't dose or feed them anything. feeding one frag may get you nothing but nitrates.
