Are my zoas dying? Or are they dead i have recently gotten my water checked at a local saltwater/reef store and they said my water quality was good overall but my zoas dont seem too good is it lack of flow or too much light i dont have a wavemaker but i do have an upgraded return pump i have a nuvo 20g and a maxspect razer

Because i remember both zoas and polyps were closed but polyps were the only ones who opened up

I've seen zoas go bad from too much peroxide. That was the question

The alk is kinda high. Are you using a ph buffer?

Im not no

How deep is the tank.
What are the setting %
And hot long is it on?

Its about 8-10 inchess off the tank
My tank is 24" x 15" x 13"
5%w 12%b
8%w 20%b
12%w 32%b
15%w 40%b
Its on from 9am to 9pm

I agree. Definitely far from dead right now. I've had some zoas stay closed like that for over a month too. I've even had some come back from what I thought was just the empty space where they withered away.
