Snails are not an option nor are crabs I have a wrasse that has made it his mission to eliminate any cuc including any shrimp(peppermint especially) lg turbos have survived, cucumbers but that’s about itadd cuc. one snail will likely have coraline on its shell and it will spread.
i personally would be leery of dumping some others slurry into my tank just to speed up something that is inevitable.

Snail, rock, or turn your flow off and scrape it off the glass and syphon out the scrapings. Snail or rock will seed it, scrapings would seed it quicker. If you do the scrapings turn off any skimmer, UV and flow in the DT for an hour or two.
So just scrape it off, which isn’t a problem it’s almost invasive and just sprinkle it all over or 1 area ?
