1 of my tanks is loaded with coraline algae and I wanted to get it into the other 2 tanks so how would I do that, scrape it off the glass? Put a piece of rock covered in it ? Or some other way...

add cuc. one snail will likely have coraline on its shell and it will spread.
i personally would be leery of dumping some others slurry into my tank just to speed up something that is inevitable.

Snail, rock, or turn your flow off and scrape it off the glass and syphon out the scrapings. Snail or rock will seed it, scrapings would seed it quicker. If you do the scrapings turn off any skimmer, UV and flow in the DT for an hour or two.

Any encrusted powerheads?
I scraped these and added it to my newish frag tank.
Cant hurt if it came from your tank.

yea my wrasses have escargot on the mind too lol.
there are also products like purple up that will speed it up. it pays to mention, even one snail shell with coraline placed on the rock will do the trick.

So just scrape it off, which isn’t a problem it’s almost invasive and just sprinkle it all over or 1 area ? Turn flow off and whala!
