I have 2 tanks set up and found the perfect corner in my house for a 3rd. Thinking a corner tank would look really nice there but need to understand the pros and cons. Reef SPS tank all the way. I have a larger mixed reef already.

Do you get distortion with curved glass?
Is the curved glass hard to clean?
How big can they get.. looking to buy used (bigger better)
How do i build a curved hood to hide lights.. (2 black boxes and t5s)
How do you build a screen covers

I have built the stand/hood for my 2 other tanks.. (from help at this site.. thanks) but i an far from master. Squares are about all i know.

Any thoughts and feedback would be helpful

Some people hate curved glass, and some don't mind it. You rarely find anybody who LOVES it. You won't get good answers on how to build stuff and you have to use the same techniques that a carpenter does to make curved walls in homes.

It can only be scraped side to side and not up and down where blades can bed and magnet scrapers are straight.

My main issue is that when I look into a bow front or corner tank, I feel like I am looking at one of those pictures where you have to cross your eyes to see the image. It messes with my mind at first. I imagine that people get over this.

All of this said, I would buy one and use one if it was in the only spot that I could keep a tank and a cube would not work. Sorry that this is not of much help - free bump.
