Corraline removal

Is there an easy way to get corraline algae off the front of the tank? This is an 8 gallon tank and it's doing pretty well in its second year but this corraline is driving me nuts. The front is curved and it is acrylic. Scrubby pads don't touch it. Plastic razor blades worthless. Only my finger nail seems to be of any help.

I use an old credit card to scrape it off. Be careful around the silicone seals

No silicone it's an acrylic tank with a curved front making it particularly difficult to get at with anything flat. I'm going to try the blue Scotchbrite pads since they are less scratchy than the green but more than the white acrylic safe pads for aquariums.
