Could this be AEFW?

Hi, I have had this coral in QT for one month and dipped in coral RX 3x. However, when I placed in the main display I noticed this. Are these signs of flatworms or just an unhappy coral (they always hate my QT).

Yeah looks a lot like AEFW bite marks to me. I bet if you dip you'll see some come off. Do you have any other acros?

Yes bite marks are visible. At this point I would H2O2 dip.

I would get some Bayer and set up a QT for weekly dipping. Others have beaten them that way

Is this from Macna? I'm assuming it's from a BRS youtube lecture? It may make a good Sunday watch for me.

Thanks! Yes, i bought 10 acro fraga and kept them in a small QT for a month. However, this is the only piece with these marks

Unfortunately the Bayer product is not available in Europe... I am thinking about just throwing this out in the garbage...

So they are actually using H202 as a dip for AEFW and not just nuisance algae?

Through my study of H2O2 it has been noted that it kills flatworm.

Very interesting. So you've had success even at 20-40mL H202 per 1L saltwater for 5 minutes? I may give this a try going forward in addition to Bayer. Never been a fan of algae hitch hikers.
