Hello!! I have a 75 gal tank and seem to be unable to keep my ph where it should be. Also, have anemone that may be splitting. Heard this is not a positive sign. Am I feeding her too much - too much light? We have the Kessil lights programmed and they go off at night - we do water changes, no fish problems, no other concerns. Running a sump with Apex system etc... is my anemone ok - sick? How do I keep my Ph higher? It’s always at or around 7.86-8.01. I can’t win!

Anemonies split for many reasons. What are you feeding and how much? How are your lights programmed for all channels and for what times? What have you tried to get your ph higher, and keep it at that level? How are your other parameters?

How old is the tank? Running a skimmer? Heard running the air line out of a window for some fresh air can help

I wouldn't worry about pH too much if it's not dropping below 7.6 personally - mine is always between 7.75-8.1 and my tank does pretty good. If you want to buffer it you can open a window or run an air stone(if you don't already have a skimmer), or try kalk dosing but keep a careful eye on your alkalinity if you're planning on using kalk.

There is nothing wrong with your ph. It’s just fine if it stays at that level forever.

As for the nem, what kind is it?

And how stable are your parameters?

And some pics of your tank and the nem under white lights.
