^ This was my guess as well a type of Calappa, the claws just did not fit.
Wish I still had access to chuckaddiction links. He had a really nice crab ID section.
@Wiz might take it off your hands........ maybe
That's true.......Going to have to pass on this one. Looks like he would eat too much of my macro fauna. Can't have THAT

So take him and put him in the sumpOr worse, he kills more than one.
When I get my tank I might compete with you for varius invertebrates ;PGoodI just had 3 more tiny eunice worms shipped. Unfortunately they did not survive shipping. :-( hobbit is well though. He ate one of them. Lol
Yeah I really want chitons lol. Or rather basically anything that doesn't outright outsize a 1 ft fish or hunt through venom-poison. That way I can have a more balanced environment in my predator tank to be.No competition here. I just want to see these things have a happy home rather than die. And I am very interested in the lifespan and habits of eunice worms as well as mantids.
Good luck getting people to part with ones that are not bad such as chitons. My local fish store has a chiton that they have had for like 8 months. But they refused to sell it because they cannot get it off the glass without hurting it. Which I respect but I really want it. LOL
It's ok I think. We made it pretty clear that that crab will eat everything in his tank lol. That's really cool. Yeah I tried to convince them to try to remove it. But they weren't having it. Lol I go once a week for ro. Stare at it for a min and hope it will come off the glass some day. Lol
I'm pretty happy with hobbit for now. Hes small but soooo interresting. :-D
Sry to jack the thread.
