I am thinking about making a type of star polyp garden with 3 different types on an island. They would all start as frags. My question is would the dominant star polyp over take the others or would it work similar to zoas?

To my understanding, I think zoas would try to fight it for a bit but the star polyps would eventually overgrow it.

He's talking about diff strands of Star polyps , I don't think they would grow over eachother
Oh i totally misread that. My bad. I've got 2 strands of polyp on one of my rocks and they play nice. They haven't exactly meshed together whether that be intentional or it hasn't been enough time.

Yeah, I was just giving zoas as an example of what I was wanting to acheive with star polyps because it seems everyone does it with zoas but I cant find anything about people trying it with star polyps.

I’ve seen them overtaking pretty much everything in their way.Just keep an eye on them
