I’m having some cyano issues in my peninsula, mainly on the other side of the tank that has the lower flow. I have 2x Neptune WAV 1x mp60 2x mp40.

for reference I know if I use chemi clean I’ll get Dino’s. For now I think I may just ride it out.
I’m using microbacter clean and blowing my rocks out daily.

this post isn’t a help post. But more of an thread where people can complain about their ugly phase

ps. My tanks been up for 7 months now.

I am dealing with some cyano as well as GHA. The cyano, at least in my system, is a warning that my nitrates are crashing. Eventually the uglies will give way to coralline. I'm ready.

heh. I think complaining is actually a great response to the uglies.
It's probably more productive than a lot of things people try to fight against early stages that should just be allowed to pass.
