Ive obtained two Cyphastrea morphs, Ive had the Meteor Shower for about 2 months and obtained a Minefield last week. I have a 14g Biocube with a Steve's LED retrofit running at ~35% actinic ~30% white for 12 hours a day.
I placed the Meteor Shower on my sandbend when I got it and it browned out in 3 days. I moved it to almost full shade and it seems to be doing better (Polyp extension) but color still hasnt returned.
The Minefield is sitting on my sandbed in partial shade and still has its color but doesnt appear to be thriving(very little polyp extension.

I know Cyphastrea are low light corals, but I dont understand why they would need to be in complete shade when I am running not that powerful LEDs and they came from a store tank with much more powerful lights. So where should I move these guys to get the best growth and coloration?

My cyphastrea prefers high flow and low light with higher nutrients. I found the best placement is shaded under over hanging rock or shadowed by larger corals. I've noticed they do better under blue/actinic lighting. Not to mention the colors are better. I know your biocube isn't very deep so possibly put the corals on the sandbed in the corners of the tank out of direct light.
