My lfs is selling darth mauls for 10 a polyp, is it a good idea to buy one and let them spread, or buy a colony?

buy 2p they grow faster. dont buy a whole colony. if you do try to buy a mini colony try to get a deal out of them like 5 for 40$ if they say no then screw them, They just want you for your money that means lol.

finicky as in hard to care for or can be a morph other than dathmaul? Thanks for your input

finicky as in they don't acclimate to tank lighting/flow/parameters very well and tend to melt away, min were super slow growers then one day... Poof they were gone, oh well.

I have a few colonies with small variations. They were/are growing great until my Lamarck's angels of all things started chowing on them and my magicians. Eviction notices have been served.
I find they don't want much light when they are new but can be moved higher once acclimated.
