Also since you seem to be a wrasse enthusiast, what are your experiences mixing Halichoeres variety wrasses? I would love to add a claudia (one of the christmas wrasse varieties) but am concerned about the dynamics between my young melanurus and it. Or should I stick with fairy wrasses or flasher wrasses?

A claudia should be fine, just use a social acclimation box to introduce. I have 3 Halichoeres species together in my tank and plan on at least another 2.

I don't have an acclimation box but I do have a fish trap that can be mounted to the tank and it has a feeder on it. You think that work.

It's probably too big for my tank, but I just found the convict tang and I actually like it better than any tang shown thus far (and it is supposed to be one of the most peaceful tangs to boot).

Yeah, they get a little too big for a 90. Convicts are one of my favorite things as well.
