My mimic tang lost his buddy the powder brown in QT. I moved the mimic back into the display and he is actually depressed I think. He and the PB did everything together-even slept in the same area and grazed together. Now the mimic rarely grazes but is still eating his food well. He just kind of hangs out around the rocks and slowly moves around the tank. He and the PB used to fly around the tank together having a good 'ol time. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Ok I definitely will and see what happens. I don't know if they will act the same or not. I added both in at the same time but with a powder brown added after the mimic, I am not sure how they will get along.

My blue tang stopped swimming and eating after swim buddies bit it. My wife said he was just depressed and lonely. We went to the store and bought more fish. Blue tang came out almost immediately, and started eating again. I am convinced that fish have feelings.

+1 on that. I think a lot of animals are more intelligent than we give them credit for.

Thanks! Do you all think it needs to be another PB or can I get a different tang? I have someone who is willing to give me a Kole tang.
