Hi all, hope you can help me with my devil's hand leather coral. For a while now the polyps are not fully extending. As you can see in the picture the polyps are out but not fully extended like the mother above it. Any ideas why?

It was positioned right next to it and it did the same thing. Now it's a little lower and still the same.

In most cases, it’s a lack of flow. They shed regular and depend on medium flow. If not, they can skin over needing flow to assist with shedding
Blowing gently with a turkey baster generally perks them up

Its in pretty good flow, I tried the turkey baster but it hasn't shed for almost 2 months now (maybe longer) and the same coral only bigger next to it still opens like it should. Maybe I will try to put it in even stronger flow and see what happens.

medium light and medium to low flow in my thank, the frag of Devil's hand doing good. it was acting same as yours before when it was on the frag rack that with higher light. hope it help!
