Tank is a month or so old. Had a very mild diatom outbreak and it died a week or so ago. Now this. I thought it was diatoms again based on color, etc. But it looks filamentous growing up the glass. I thought diatoms would form an even layer. It also grows very, very fast. I had some people coming over for dinner so I quickly moved some gravel over it. By the time they left it was growing back all over the gravel.

looks like hair algae. I notice bubbles in the bedding which along with inorganics may be feeding it. Do a light siphoning entering tube into gravel without stirring. Also reduce white light intensity a little.
Do you know what your phosphate and nitrate levels are ?

They are both zero. (I am not feeding any fish)
