Diatoms?

Please help ID this. I believe that it is diatoms.

We need the pic under white light and microscopic photo and video if you can do it.

Except when starting a tank, diatoms are usually only a problem when using evaporation replacement water that has silicate in it (tap or depleted RO/DI, for example), or if dosing silicate. Diatoms need silicate and rapidly deplete it.

Or if you use unfiltered NSW for waterchanges.
